We had a great weekend. We generally pack our weekends to the max to get in as much stuff as humanly possible, but this weekend was a good balance of relaxation and activity.
We kicked it off on Friday with an interesting one man monologue at The Rep - The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs. It was both an upper and a downer of a story - you'll look at your technology differently.
On Saturday we were eagerly preparing for our new mattress! It's sad but the mattress we've been using is mine from...the end of HIGH SCHOOL! We are now sleeping on the Heavenly Bed - from the Westin. So nice.
The sun finally made an appearance and it was so nice to sit outside without a coat. I even got a little sun burn. Along with everyone else in Seattle we hit the Burke Gilman trail and road our bikes out to Redhook in the afternoon.
Today, we headed out in the rain for a training hike (getting prepared for the Kalaulau trail in Kauai) at Mt. Si and then finished the day with family celebrating Easter. I think my favorite Easter foods are - scalloped potatoes and the reeces peanut butter eggs.
We're also trying to tame our yard so there was some yard work sprinkled throughout the weekend, so all in all a great weekend.
