It's been way too long...
Spring is here. I'm excited the days are getting longer and we are starting to get a little more sun - we just need the heat to go along with it. The only downside (for me at least) is cleaning up the yard and getting it ready for all the new growth. We have four huge pine trees in our backyard that dump a thick blanket of needles on our year each year and it's such a daunting project. Although the bright spring and summer colors make it worth it. 
We booked our next trip - a nice relaxing beach vacation in Hawaii. While it's not as adventurous as past trips we're really looking forward to a laid back vacation, where you can drink the water, the food is safe and you speak the same language. We start on Kauai for 7 days and then head to the big island for 5 days. We haven't been to the big island before so we're looking forward to something new.
Other good news we've received lately...
- Blane's sister is having another baby (#3) and it's a GIRL! She is going to be a tough cookie with two older brothers.
- Our good friends Charlie & Chels are having a baby - a boy. They were also just stationed in Germany for their final stint before they hopefully come home. We are already dreaming up our next trip.
