the next step. Blane has been doing lots of prep work to make sure things are ready for the cabinet installer, wall boarder, floor guy, etc. And I take the boys. It's a team effort and we're almost there. We're both ready to be done and in our new house. Cabinets were installed last week and we picked our flooring, counters, backsplash and carpet. This weekend the basement was finished being insulated and all the wallboard went up. Next week...mudding begins and kitchen flooring. Trying to pick all our paint colors and getting that lined up. Hoping we'll have all the mudding and kitchen floors, counters and backsplash done by the time we leave for Hawaii. That way paint and carpet can go in while we're gone. Hopefully. Then when we get back and move in! Then I'll go back to work. Not ready for that part.
