I'm enjoying holidays more and more now that I get to celebrate them with a little one. Something about it makes it so much more magical and fun.
We had a few costume ideas, but B ended up being a duck. He loved the fluffy duck outfit, so that made the decision easy. Whatever he would keep on. This year we trick or treated and B totally had it down after the first house. We went with my sister's family and he would march from house to house knocking on doors. We didn't quite get the words trick or treat down, but he quickly figured out you get to pick out a piece of candy at each house. He also wanted to open each piece of candy on the spot, maybe the sorting and counting is a couple years off. It was a soggy evening and at one point the little duck got distracted with a large puddle - running back and forth. Pure joy right there.
The evening was capped off with a hot bath, movie and playtime with cousins. Bennett and mom fell asleep on the way home. It was a long day!
