Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday - it's all about family and food. We split the day every year (although this might be our last, we'll see) heading to Everett first as Blane's family ramps up their party earlier and then make our way to Seattle to celebrate with my side into the late hours of the day. We had an assortment of items to bring this year to each party, but the "never done before" was making pumpkin pies.  I found the recipe on SimplyRecipe and it was pretty straight forward. Blane wanted to make the crust from scratch so he was in charge of that part and I made the filling. The reviews were positive,  so won't be afraid to sign up for that again.

Bathroom update:
Blane is working away making great progress on the bathroom addition. He tunneled out where the new sewer line is going and all the way to where we're tapping into the existing line. Day after Thanksgiving activity for him is starting to put the drainage in (not what I would choose, but he likes a good project). He's a handy one that hubby of mine!
