We've made it home. We started our trip back bright and early German time leaving Garmish by train at 7am (10pm pst). We transferred trains smoothly and were at the Munich airport by 9:30am. We unfortunately stood in the wrong line to check-in cutting it close but made it to Frankfurt ok. Once we boarded our last plane to go home out of frankfurt we were pleasantly surprised by our seat assignment - premier economy. We don't know why but were weren't complaining with all the nice little extras and ample leg room.  We touched down at 5:30pm pst and thankfully no barfing off the plane this time. It was truly a day of planes, trains and automobiles. Crossing our fingers we can sleep through the night, hmm optimistic seeing as Blane is already asleep.
