Bathroom Addition

We have officially embarked on adding a bathroom to our basement. We have talked about doing this probably since we bought the house, but always knew it would be the last thing to tackle. We do have a single, randomly placed toilet with partial walls around it in the shop area that has been the man can since we moved in, but it's time to upgrade with a sink, real walls and a shower.

With baby on the way it's definitely motivated us a bit more since we won't have the time in a few months to focus on it. We have our ideal location for it and crossing our fingers the plumber says it's a good plan on Thursday. Blane already got started on pulling down all the old wood paneling and temporary ceiling. Next weekend we'll be busy.
It also seems like each of our projects has started with something breaking... 1st re-do of our upstairs bathroom started when I dropped our ipod down the toilet and got stuck. Kitchen turned rewiring/replumbing the whole house, etc. started when our fridge died. And this time, besides the baby, we got a new box freezer and tried to move the old one out of the basement and ended up breaking the window on the door, hence the boarded up window - classy.
