Family vaca

We have had a full week of vacationing in the hot sunshine of Montana. We shipped out on Thursday stayed the night in Couer D'Alene and arrived in Whitefish, MT Friday at 5pm. B was a trooper, as always. Took us a bit longer with stops along the way, but it was expected so we just took our time. Blane was exhausted from the driving and I from entertaining Mr B. We enjoyed the wedding festivities all weekend in celebration of cousin Jeff and his bride Kate. Then we made our way to Glacier National Park. So glad we went it was gorgeous and different enough from our mountains that it was fun to see all the sites. We hiked, saw lots of mountain goats, played in the lake, boated, got eaten alive by masquitoes, and on and on. One night we had a legit thunderstorm. Thank god for the pop up trailer otherwise waiting out a rain storm in a tent with B would have ended in tears for everyone.

We are now on our way to potholes state park in WA for the remainder of our trip. It Will be a weekend of water skiing, swimming, snacking and sunshine. I love vacation. Been a long time since we vacationed within driving distance from home.
