Hood to Coast

HTC is an annual running relay race in Oregon from Mt. Hood to Seaside. It's 200 miles long, you have a team of 12 and each person runs three legs. Last year we raised $15K for the American Cancer Society so we would get automatic entrance into this years race - something that I have always wanted to do. Well, Blane ended up having to run the race for me. It was a beautiful weekend, the energy was contagious and I was definitely jealous that I couldn't run with the team. Though, after I got a full night sleep and a few normal meals I wasn't complaining too much.

The team did amazing, finishing the race in 30hrs. It's still on my list to check off, maybe next year.
