Abel Tasman bound

We landed this afternoon in Nelson after a quick flight out of Auckland. We had a good past couple of days. Caving in Waitomo was exciting rapelling down into a cave, floating down an underground river and checking out the glow worms and natural formations. We were underground for about 3hrs walking, floating and crawling through the 3mile long cave. We spent the night in Hamilton which we spent trying to eat as much of our remaining food so it woudln't all go to wast when we turned the camper in today. After we were stuffed we packed up our bags and gave the camper a quick clean for an easy drop off this morning. We got up before the sunrise this morning to make sure we were back in Auckland in time for our 11:40 flight. We turned in the camper and found out we clocked around 1,100 kilometers during our tour of the north - all on two tanks of gas. The domestic airport is a breeze you check yourself in, drop off your own bags on the carrier and scan yourself in when boarding, no security lines. They boarded the plane only 10min before we took off. We landed around 1pm and spent the afternoon getting ready for our hike along the Abel Tasman. We decided to do a three day hike instead of four days so we have a little more time at the end to see the east coast. We leave tomorrow morning at 7:30AM and it takes about an hour and a half to get to the trailhead. The weather has taken a positive turn and it should be sunny this whole week, so we lucked out. After our hike we'll rent a car and head over to Picton and Blehnim for some wine touring before we catch our flight home on Saturday evening.
